Support Dr. Zakir Naik

TNTJ (Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamaath) has strongly condemned the Fascist BJP Govt for trying to suppress Dr. Zakir Naik’s Islamic preaching.*

An Indian citizen was one among the many who lost their lives in the brutal terrorist attack that took place in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Central Government has accused that one of the Terrorists allegedly claimed that he is inspired by Dr. Zakir Naik’s lecture.

Union minister Venkaiah Naidu mentioned in one of the press meets that the Home ministry is rigorously scrutinizing his speeches and also stated that his Speeches are highly objectionable.

There is no doubt that this is a deliberate plot of the BJP government to suppress the Islamic preaching of Dr. Zakir Naik.

Almost all the English news channels are conducting debates portraying Dr. Zakir Naik as a dreadful terrorist.

Will Dr. Zakir Naik be considered a Terrorist, just because one of the assailants in this terrorist attack happened to be listening to the lectures of Dr. Zakir Naik?

If so, there are plenty of thieves and dacoits who are huge fans of Film actors. On similar grounds, will Venkaiah Naidu have the Home ministry investigate the respective actors, actresses, their Movies and their dialogues?

For instance, consider the recent Murder incident that took place in Chennai, the accused in the Infosys Techie Swathi’s Murder had liked Modi’s Facebook page. Will Venkaiah Naidu accuse that Modi was the reason behind Swathi's murder because the accused is the follower of Modi?

Dr Zakir Naik is accused because, last year one of the assailant Rohan Imthiaz is said to have used the excerpts from his lecture for Facebook propaganda.

Dr. Zakir Naik had mentioned in one of his speeches “I said every Muslim should be a terrorist to all anti-social elements."

What is wrong in the above statement? If this statement is responsible for branding Dr. Zakir Naik as terrorist and that which is used to throttle his Islamic preaching, then Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamaath will also publicize the same statement!

Muslim should be an extremist in preaching Humanity.

Muslim should be an extremist in eradicating the evils in a society.

Muslim should be an extremist in preaching compassion.

In summary, Muslim will be an extremist in doing all that is good. Indeed, He is a true Muslim.

None of the Islamic preachers preaching Islam among the non-Muslims will act in favor of terrorism. Doing so (supporting terrorism) would only hinder the Islamic preaching and not help in any means.

We warn the BJP government for wrongly portraying Dr. Zakir Naik's 'extreme' effort in preaching Islam among non-Muslims as an 'extremism'.

Despite having difference of opinions with Dr. Zakir Naik, Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamaath strongly condemns this fascist move of the Modi Government. The Central government should immediately cease all actions aimed at Dr. Zakir Naik in this regard.

In future, if such democratic obliteration that are aimed to choke the democratic voice were to continue, whole of the Muslim community would not hesitate with a befitting response to these enemies of democracy. We would also like to emphasize that every Indian caring for humanity will stand united with the Muslims in this regard.
